Since when do people with a limited track record or none at all (success) start telling people with long-term success how it’s done.

If we don’t take care of our children they’re gonna start taking care of themselves -and we’re not gonna like what we see.

Never give a person a reason to justify/rationalize their wrongful/inappropriate actions.

These people (2 or 3) in AA have really got it out/in for me! By doing the wrong, and by doing the right thing, you can make enemies.

You’re trying to have a rational conversation with irrational people.

Most people are limited to their perceptions of truth -that comprises “the in-crowd”. Someone comes along with a little (or alot) more insights. And it created issues because the deeper a person can go, and the less-inclined the the people around you are to go there with you… 🤷‍♂️

Only when we are honest with people do we afford the a genuine opportunity to form an opinion (or make a decision) based on facts.

If people didn’t get along strictly with assholes, there would be hope for humanity -but people don’t get along with each other whether they’re being good or bad 🤷‍♀️🥴🤷‍♂️

Life keeps bringing us back to the lessons in life we have yet to/refuse to learn.

DISHONEST PEOPLE DON’T LIKE HONEST PEOPLE

I remember when Ana decided to pick up and read the Bible -our relationship was never the same. And we had been discussing how my aunt would talk about how satan intervenes when a person tries to escape his grasp. Now, he used people in Ana’s case who fell prey to his twisting of the truth hinging on fear, ego, selfishness… he didn’t force these people into anything, he simply tricked them, he simply used their weaknesses. A person that’s unprepared… A person not insulated by the wall of human community… DR. CARL JUNG (LETTER TO BILL W. January 30th 1961).

Sure a lot of people with money and good looks have a lot of opportunities -including relationship opportunities.* But there’s a flip side to that coin – If you got all that going for you and you still get dumped…. At least if you and me get dumped, there’s a a reasonable possibility -it could be them rather than (as much as) us.**

*A lot of opportunities that wouldn’t ordinarily be afforded if it weren’t for the money or their physical attractiveness.

**Because people don’t ordinarily throw away “a good thing” without a very good reason***

***The more you have going for you the more what you don’t have going for you people have a tendency to tolerate -the less you have going for you… 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

If you are dividing a room by what you share, believe, you’re probably on to something. If you’re pleasing everyone in the room (or no one)… 🤷‍♂️

If we’re at odds with the truth -how can we expect to resolve life’s issues (issues among and between our selves)🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

How can you win by giving in? In AA this is the first step towards liberation from Alcohol. But Alciholics are not the only one’s who struggle with the concept of winning by giving in, by admitting complete defeat.

A lot of people seem to be consumed with homeostasis – I’m speaking on the emotional level. We human beings go to such lengths to avoid pain, discomfort, feeling fearful -that we will even do the wrong thing in pursuit of it. This is where all the world’s problems stem from -and this is where all of satan’s powers are granted to him. I believe, like everyone else, except God (doing evil is not a limitation), satan himself is bound by certain restrictions. He cannot violate man’s self will. He cannot turn a good person to evil against their will.

Is it true that people come out of prison worse than when they went in in many cases?

satan gets offended by kindness and respect for others

God is offended by rudeness and disrespect for others

Which course of action, based upon these 2 facts, will you choose?

A lot of the choices we human beings make every day offend God and please satan -I guess some people never looked at that way 🤷‍♂️ But if I was a betting man… I’d put my money on God

When Ana and I go to the casinos -we get a 1000 pennies and play the penny slots -that’s our limit! I learned that lesson for my old man -THE HARD WAY! All the money my dad spent on drugs and women and gambling -adjusted for inflation… (back then) $40-$50000 could have bought us 2 houses to leave his two sons. It seems that things just keep getting further and further out there. It’s becoming harder and harder and harder and harder to have a normal life based on what the system affords us. If mankind would only take what it needs, even a little bit more… I think these problems would be resolved… But man doesn’t do that. Anytime there’s a change with the system, man sees an opportunity to take a little extra for himself. Any time there’s a change of the guard…. Everybody waits to see which master they are going to serve -instead of serving the whole (of mankind -God).

On 2nd thought… the hardest thing for an alcoholic to do is:

•Look at themselves

•The 2nd hardest thing come and not think about themselves

In this area I live in it’s easy to get good things at a great price but hard to sell them at a great price.

To turn a profit around here you basically have to steal things. Which is basically what pawn shops do in many instances

•View circumstances as a means rather than an end to getting us “their”

So where is there? Welcome you have 2 directions you can go in only -and to not make a decision -is to make a decision (is to choose a side) 🤷‍♂️
