So many things that I thought -that I was wrong about! I’ve never been very good at figuring out for example, whether or not a woman is interested. I’ve come to realize that it’s a very uncomfortable experience for some women to be asked out, and for them to have to say “no”. I’ve also come to realize that it’s a very uncomfortable experience for me to ask a woman out -and be told no. So, for these two very uncomfortable π reasons -I DON’T ASK!
God makes us the way He makes us -and then we want to change that!
“Whether you’re wrong, whether I’m wrong, the result seems to be the same”.
A lot of men don’t care how the woman feels, they just want what they want -either that or they’re lying to themselves. I don’t feel that way, not for a very long time anyways.
COME TOGETHER
My friend Dave told me a story many years ago about a Lizard π³ that would get up with him at 3 in the morning, stand between his π¦΅(sometimes)𦡠-and watch him paint. Then, one-day, by accident, he stepped on him -He cried πͺ. It has always fascinated, intrigued me seeing things that ordinarily don’t mix, come together!

I’ve heard many Christians talking about how God wants us to be successful -and our lives full of bounty. All I know is that the supreme example set is that of His Son Jesus -and you can talk yourself into or out of whatever you want all day long… Jesus’ example is the supreme example! The fact of the matter is this; in most cases, the more successful a person becomes -the more their relationship with God tends to dwindle! Let’s face it, most people’s relationship with God is based upon need. And once our needs are met -alot of things go out the window! Haven’t you heard the old saying:
“Man’s worst enemy is a full stomach!”
“The more a man’s, or woman’s needs get fulfilled, the more trouble they tend to have -getting on their knees”.
To my way of thinking π€ there are two types of relationships you can have with human-beings:
1. Spiritual -Love that does not require mutual participation; is not physical; has no drama; involves no pleasure.
2. Human -Everything is colluded; drama; lustful; intense; passionate; messy…
How do you find something inside of yourself that you’ve never been given? π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
People who grew up as children lacking stability -often find it difficult to hold on to as adults.
“You’re ready when you’re ready”.
It took me 11 and a 1/2 years before I was ready -to concede that “alcohol” was my problem -not my solution! It took me about another 27 years -to concede that my “old behaviors” were my problem -not my solution! π€·ββοΈ
Sidenote: Did you hurt anyone? NO! Did you try to hurt anyone? NO! Then don’t worry about it π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
A friend of mine by the name of Dave Rothermel gave me some great advice years ago, he said “We don’t hit people, and we don’t break things”.
They say that it’s good to keep an active brain -especially if dementia and Alzheimer run in your family. I could be wrong about one or the other. π€·ββοΈ Of course there’s a lot of benefits of maintaining an active brain lol. Anyways my point is this, are you more or less apt to experience problems with your bladder in your formative years if you hold your bladder for long periods in your younger years?
Many of us act out things seemingly good, and bad; BUT WE JUST CAN’T SEEM TO BRING THEM TO THE FOREFRONT WHEN AND WHERE THEY ARE ACTUSLLY REQUIRED! π
I predict that someday fat will become a valued commodity – Unless we all go health-nutπ€·ββοΈ
You get what you pay for -is the old saying. But not so with God!
a) God has a limitless supply
b) Unlike we human beings -God has no use for the material. So He doesn’t hang on to it like it’s life-and-death. It’s always best to deal with God wherever possible!
There’s just something about people who think, feel they have no use for God -something missing. Something there that is amiss.

Choose your tact carefully

Think big, don’t think small. When you shoot for the stars and land on the moon -you still accomplish went further than initially expected…. π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ When I sell something, I always end up catering to the wishes of the other person.* You just have to match the right thing with the right person. It’s never a good thing to operate (make decisions) out of desperation.
When we don’t feel very good, that’s when we need to most think of others. When we don’t feel very good, that’s when we need to think of others mozst. We humans tend to be somewhat backwards in their idea about what makes them feel better when they’re down.
*You want to sell it for more, they wanna get it for lessβ¦ π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
If there’s NO STRUGGLE whatsoever, anywhere in the PROCESS, you’re probably missing something. In my recovery, NOT DRINKING has been easy -following the suggestions has been a struggle -BUT YOU CANNOT CLAIM SOMETHING IS A CHALLENGE FOR YOU UNTIL YOU ATTEMP IT -and that is why not drinking has perhaps been so easy for me. The formula is this;
“The more I struggle over here (apply myself), the easier it will be over there.”*
In MMA, the training is, should be more demanding than THE FIGHT ITSELF!
*But some people try and turn that around, “We’ll maybe, just maybe -if I apply myself over here, then Iπwon’t have to struggle (apply myself) over there”. It’s the old “If I try hard enough where I prefer, maybe I won’t have to that a’tall -where I don’t”.**
**When things got tough, uncomfortable, I would create drama because:
β’It was familiar
β’It never failed to fail
β’I deserved no less π
β’Succed, or fail, what’s the difference π€·ββοΈ (what a way to go thru life π).
Just as you never know who’s guilty and who’s innocent since everybody it’s everybody accused of a crime claims innocence – Man, when accused of something, and whether it is true or not -has a tendency to retaliate an either case. In fact, I would say in a great many instances, he tends to retaliate even more so when it is true.
So yes, we expect a certain amount of retaliation from the world in response to these posts. Man has always had a problem with truth! And he always uses the messenger as the weak link -his 1st tactic to discredit.
Sidenote: A relationship is generally only as healthy as the sickest person in it. How do you think Jesus felt?
There are people in the world who receive far too much attention and people in the world who receive far too little-pyphon Maybe we should work on that a little
DON’T THROW OUT THE BABY WITH THE BATHWATER
If you are sitting in a room full of people spouting the most wonderful philosophies (but are not putting them into practice themselves) -IS THERE STILL SOMETHING BENEFICIAL -SOMETHING POSITIVE TO TAKE AWAY FROM THAT ROOM?**
*So, in both cases, it makes it difficult to determine whose really guilty, and who isn’t.
**It’s God, not AA that gave us “A God of our own understanding…” If you sat down a million Alcoholics today, and asked them to come up with a solution to their alcoholism, I GUAR-ON-TEE YOU IT WOULDN’T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE PROGRAM WE HAVE TODAY -THE 12-STEP PROGRAM IS FOUNDED ON “UNCOMMON-SENSE”.
According to God, a woman’s body’s sacred-not to be used carelessly, not to be thrown out to the world, nor to be touted as an object for others take money off of -how does it feel to be used so cheaply so that another can profit? Please tell me what the differences between a Hooker and a pimp, and somebody in show business, revealing themselves – and studio paying them to reveal their bodies to the π?
