When a culture largely has contempt for its own… Is it because of the individual or because of the people surrounding the individual that breeds contempt? I notice in our culture here where I live a lot of the people don’t like unlike their own kind. Assuming it’s the people surrounding the individual and their behavior, if we carry that over to a different culture, with the individual then feel the same way about the people in their culture surrounding them?
A person with an enormous capacity for love coupled with absence of the object of their love -only propels that love to a level some of us can only imagine.
As your sense of being victimized begins to slip away calm there’s a freedom that takes its place. I no longer see my early life is so horrible as I horrible as I once did. Maybe it’s healing. Maybe it’s perspective. Maybe it’s truth. Reality!
