If anything that comes out of a person’s mouth worth listening to is Universal property. And, what a person does is generally beyond our control -not for us to judge. And yet, what comes out of people’s mouths, and in the context of what they do with it, or do not do with it, seems very much to be the issue for many of us -why? If what other people do is for the most part not for us to judge, and if what comes out of their mouth is not there’s to own, but for each and every one of us to own… Then why so often the issue with adhering to the message? If someone is critical of us, and it happens to be true -why not leave it there? Why do we have to point fingers? Why do we have to concern ourselves with whether or not that person is guilty Renaissance of the same faults? EGO! PRIDE! If somebody offers you the winning lottery numbers, are you gonna be concerned with whether or not they themselves have bought a ticket? How foolish we are.

At the treatment center I did volunteer work, people had a very lackadaisical attitude towards the group in many cases. I would point out to them that if this was a group concerning their child who was suffering a terminal illness, what would their demeanor and attitude and actions then be? Then I would point out to them that since alcoholism and addiction are deadly diseases -why not have the same attitude? Approach? Lastly, I would put this question to them, are you any less valuable than your children? The fact of the matter is that alcoholics and addicts don’t value their life very much. Their egos perhaps -but their lives…

In some ways man is too flexible; in other ways too inflexible. In many ways man is too accepting in other ways; too unaccepting. How is it we see the same problems over and over, generation after generation after generation? Is it because mankind accepts these things? Things? Is it because mankind wants these things? Is it because mankind needs these things? Is it because mankind encourages these things? Is it because mankind creates these things? When I say create, I’m either talking about mankind in general due to his fallen nature, or specific individuals capitalizing on certain situations, certain flaws, certain societal issues.
