My dad gave me a piece of advice on women which I lived by for many years mistakenly, unwittingly. He said it’s better to be a son of a bitch than a fool. Now I’m sure there are women out there that would appreciate this as well, but I don’t need their type.

What’s the message in the movies when so many of the characters live lavish lives and have prominent careers? Or what does it say about us?

It’s very difficult to [be on the] go, go, go and “be still and know I am GOD” at the same time! Something’s gotta give!

Some people seem trapped within themselves; while others seem able to roam outside [beyond] themselves [quite freely]

We fight vigorously, in some cases savagely for the material, things of an often trivial value, of a limited availability. And yet we, many of us, DO NOT show even a fraction of the zeal towards that which is of infinitely greater value, and unlimited availability. 🤔 😏🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷‍♂️ A need to battle? To hunt? To compete? Surely we can rise above this can we not? A parable: A man, or woman is throwing thousands of dollars out their window, onto the street. People are lunging towards the ground, fighting for all they can get. One man stands by idle, watching the chaos. When all the money has been gathered, and all the commotion settles down, a woman quite curiously approaches the man, and comments, “Ah, you have learned the true value of life and the dangers of placing too much importance on materialism ay?” Hesitantly, the man responds “No, actually I have a bad back and a heart condition and my Doctors say it’s not a good idea for me to get overly excited nor to over exert myself”. 😆 🤔
