We do things that make us feel like shit in order to have control -> to get something we want or to avoid something we don’t want. When we do these things we throw away our peace and our joy. And then it becomes time to assert more control -> to get more of the things we want or avoid the things we don’t want with even greater cunning and treachery… By this time we’ve completely lost sight of peace and joy. But this is how satan and man insert themselves. They’re the middle man who comes along and says we have this for you to get that piece and that joy back, or at least a feeling of superiority.

Some people’s relationships are based primarily on need. In some cases solely on need.

Some people are a million miles away from falling into temptation while others are right on the edge. Still others Have no need of temptation for they willfully ride into the face of debauchery.

Most of the people I ever cared about I lost and the rest I’ve pushed away -that doesn’t leave much!
