
Today while out for my walk, I passed a pizza-box with 4 pieces of pizza in the middle of the road. What’s even more shameful is people driving by not bothering to pick it up. It’s not just the shameful act of the person who left it there, it is further reverberated by the hundreds of people driving by who take no pride in their community. That’s Las Cruces, New Mexico for you. And we should feel ashamed as a community for acting so! I’ve seen this countless times in the 36 years I’ve lived here -shameful!
It probably wouldn’t even take all of humanity to solve the problems of starvation, homelessness, loneliness… a 3rd would probably do the trick -minimally. But as it stands probably less than 5% of humanity makes this a top priority. We’re about 30% away.
There’s a fine line between trying to make people more open to your lifestyle and promoting it!!! Children for example don’t know the difference. Like the character in the movie blitz said to the homosexual, the homosexual, I don’t care what you do as long as you do it privately! I do not want my child seen 2 gay women or 2 gay men walking down the street holding hands are smooching in public. And I’m sorry to say this but the welfare of a child is always placed before the welfare or the interest of an adult!!!! Although that seems to be changing. For example, things we see on television no longer seem to be concerned with the welfare, the protection of our children. The internet with all it’s sexual…
