DO YOU KNOW…

Do you know that Jesus said, The two things that bothered Him most while down here are:

1. The enormous lack of love emanating from so many.

2. Two of mankind’s biggest issues are these:*

-Envy of what his fellow man possesses.

-Jealousy/hatred for who his fellow man is (in light of who he himself is not).

3. One of His greatest ā¤-aches is that so few people would be saved (chose satan over Him -the principles we live by translate to a choice between good and evil (and some of those principles, seemingly harmless in nature, none-the-less belong to one side or the other -it’s just that simple šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø)) by His sacrifice šŸ˜”

*and you know what… I remember telling myself years into sobriety “Whenever I get around (certain) people I get these feelings of…” maybe I didn’t know the exact feelings at the time -but looking back now, I recognize them to be… you got it “-jealousy and envy-“. -> Which, BTW, often prompt us to:

-hate-crimes and;

-trying out-do one another by acquiring… which of course Corporate America has no issue at all with (I saw something in an article about the main reason people purchasedā€¦. The main reason, social something or other -to look cool, stand out… laughs). The structures we put in place and the flimsy, shallow things we rely upon!

ā€¢Title credited to “Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You’re Going To)” and is a song written by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin. It was initially recorded by American singer Thelma Houston in 1973, and then by Diana Ross as the theme to the 1975 Motown/Paramount film Mahogany.[1]
