Majority Rules! What happens when the majority gets it wrong? Are we all supposed to go along with it?

My family used to call me selfish a lot. But I recognize them to be extremely selfish as a years have gone by. But they have this strange thing that they do. Any time you do something for them they give you a crumb. It had dawned on the earlier today that they do this so that no one can say they’re selfish -but they are. And they can’t hide it behind a crumb they shove across the table to you. Only in their minds. People do things like this so that THEY feel right! And to me that’s the worst kind of selfish! It hurts me every time I go do something for the matter of love and they throw me a crumb. How many times do they offer me something when I go over merely to visit? 10-20% of the time. How many times do they offer me something after I’ve done something for them? 100% of the time. And when I refused, how often do they persist? 2 or 3 times I have to say no in a 20 minute span -my Aunt wants things to be right according to her. Steven made something of a sarcastic remark the other day by saying “What are you on a diet”. Do you think they’re doing it for my benefit? It’s sad to see people for what they really are sometimes. It can beautiful too sometimes.
