To follow God’s teachings is to continually look for opportunities to sacrifice and to devote our time not to ourselves, but to others. Every time I see someone in need and think twice about walking the other way -I think about that very thing. 🤔
What do we expect from a country that’s known as capitalism [money]. This country is filled with people who care nothing about religion. Their religion is money. Then you have people who are presumably religious who will throw away their principles at the drop of a hat for the right price or if the stakes are high enough for the consequences high. What percentage of the people in this country are firmly rooted in their religious and spiritual beliefs over consequences pertaining to materialism and money and sacrifice of and sacrifice of comfort and safety and the end status? The answer to that question is very few at the end of the day.
You do the right thing even though you don’t feel up to it, you feel better afterwards. Often times you don’t feel good and doing the right thing only the thing only worsens the condition in the moment. That is often why so many people fail to do the right thing.
