People in general are willing to do far less than they are capable of. God didn’t give us the abilities he gave us so that we could filter them through our own willingness and do things half a**-especially with regard to so many people around us in need.
We see how people react when we impose ourselves on the even when we have genuine need. It’s best to look for what you can contribute under all conditions. That’s the safest way with human. The less you can demand of other people the easier your way through life will go and the less you’ll be disappointed. The other side of that point is not judging people and I think the middle or 3rd side of this coin is that when we look more for what we can do or provide or bring to a situation we’re going to be less apt to be disappointed or let down and thus judge.
You know the next time you see a person who looks to have it all remember, you don’t garner a lot of points in Heaven for a life of contentedness and satisfaction.
