A lot of people have not had particularly positive experiences with other human being; and yet there nature remains for the most part benign. Not hostile, not resentful, not barbaric…; Then there are those people who carry a grudge, a chip on their shoulders, a complex, they don’t necessarily look to start trouble but at the drop of a hat they’re in the mix -fighting against any seeming injustice towards them; And then there are those who are the troublemakers seeking seeking every opportunity to make the world pay. All of my life I’m definitely not int the 1st category on this list. Does that mean i’m a bad person? I’m the one holding a grudge, AA chip karma a complex -If it gnawed at me badly enough I would actually instigate trouble. I’m trying not only desperately but at a crawl, to change that. My sponsor in alcoholics anonymous seemed to have mastered this by:
1)Letting go of the past;
2) Letting go and Letting GOD;
3) Looking for what he could contribute to life not take away from it.
4) Trusting in GOD and accepting things as HIS will.
5) FORGING – At the end of the day it’s all about GOD, it’s all about our selves, and it’s all about others. Some of us need to develop a degree of humility that allows for forgiveness in one or all of these areas. I’m one of those who has had to struggle with all 3. And yes the misguided notion that God did me wrong somewhere in my life.
I seem to be missing something in all of this; My journey seems to be compromised somewhere somewhere at its ❤. The journey to becoming a good practicing Christian. SHAKES HIS HEAD
It’s not just the things in our past we hold on to that get in the way of our moving on; but things in our present that we that we should let go of that prevent us from moving on.
