While I was out walking Daisy earlier this evening a very lucid thought came to mind. Given my history with cohabitation… this was particularly profound. I’ve spent the last 4 days with Daisy, and something hit me a little while ago like a ton of bricks -she’s a creature with her own personality and needs. Let her be who she is and treat her with the respect and consideration ALL GOD’S CREATURES DESERVE! IF AN ANIMAL DESERVES THIS -THEN WHAT MORE WITH REGARD TO OUR FELLOW MAN/WOMAN?

It’s been a long day -not sure how many entries I got in today -I know I took Daisy out in the hot sun for at least 4 walks, and I’m bushed! Night all -hope your day was a good one as well. ☺
