2 things I disagree with; I remembered the 1st one the other day:

•The speed of light is not the fastest speed that can be achieved (now remember this initial thought came some 25 years ago while in school). Rocket after rocket after rocket or centrifugal…

•I do not believe a person is stuck with a set IQ (25 years ago or so as well)

Now, I’m recalling the notion of a device that runs off it’s own power infinitely. My Uncle Harry had something he showed as many years ago – It was this round device about 3″ in diameter, couple of inches tall… It had something similar to a flat surface surface with a protruding point in point in the middle and then an 8th of an inch from it another protruding point elongated (both subtly).

I remember when grandma and grandpa Hurd (correct spelling) and Uncle Harry came down to visit it us in Van nuys… I was about 10 years old maybe – Uncle Harry was asking me some questions* (he was also a teacher I believe-like grandma and uncle Frank (his siblings)). Uncle Frank was born in 1895, grandma 1899, uncle Harry 1902? They were Protestants? Grandma’s mother’s maiden name was Miller. I believe they had come in through Detroit from Canada.Grandma and her siblings grew up in Niagara Falls Canada. Uncle Harry have a zeal for inventing. Her maiden name was Giauque.

*Anyways come on one of the questions I recall him asking was If you have a container that is 5″ square at its base at its base and an opening that is 10″ square, and it is raining… How quickly will the water rise? Chuckles 😃 I have no clue! Anyways, grandma Hurd asked him to quit, cause I didn’t know the answer. Very perceptive Lady! 😉
