This is one of the earliest writings I can recall:
β’It’s an exercise in doing for others while ensuring your motives are pure.*
β’Buy some bibles and drop them off at the front door of the local church and then leave.
*Unless of course you make your motive; an ego-feeding proposition while realizing you’re doing it not to feed the ego.
Sidenote: As a kid growing up in Los Angeles; one of the 1st philosophical readings I ever came across twer:
“The journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step.” This really stuck with me-got me π€
later on:
“If you love something set it free; if it comes back to you it’s yours; if it doesn’t it never was.”
I remember when I was younger, late teens, somebody asked me my thoughts on… and I drew a blank π. I don’t know what I thought at the time; at that time I didn’t do much thinking at all -to my recollection. But I know it impacted me! Later on, I began to think π€ …not one thought, but how bout two, or three, or four, or even five? π€·ββοΈ
