We see a person on the TV getting the shit kicked out of them -and we say to ourselves “if I were only there, I’d…”. But out on the street when we see somebody kicking the shit out of somebody it’s a different story. In some cases our balls shrivel up. In other cases, we don’t know if they’re getting what they deserve, or if they’re innocent? All that’s required for a person to refrain from risking their own welfare is a sliver of doubt.
The system we are supporting in this country is largely based upon superficiality -And I think you can begin to throw in artificiality as well
I think we’ve gotten to the place where having no real feelings in business is the norm -and I mean genuine feelings of compassion, or sympathy, or love. When we reach the point full-bore, where God’s ways are considered weird, crazy, silly…. π WE’RE IN TROUBLE!

P.S. I knew this task would open me up to public scrutiny. I sometimes wonder if the wrong man has been chosen for the job. I’m no Jesus, and I’m far from perfect, but if I were on both fronts -mankind would always have mixed views nonetheless! It appears to be in man’s nature to have varied opinions about any given subject. And variation as to what he or she chooses to focus on in any given situation capturing their attention.
