Never in any situation allow yourself to be completely comfortable. Try and make yourself stretch or flex morally, spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally. Always push yourself at least a little; always restrain yourself at least a little -where applicable.

When it comes to thinking of others, opportunities abound. If we are unaccustomed to thinking of others, it can be very difficult to spot the opportunities. But with a little practice and a shift in mindset…

I don’t know about you, but in my case light is necessary to seek color -otherwise everything looks black.

Have you ever wanted or needed something so desperately, desperately, that you knew that you were going to we’re going to have to do whatever it took to get it, to get there – And in your mind you’re staring at the path or obstacle course you know you’ve got to go through in order to get to the other side? You know in the fiber of your being that you will go through that path because not getting to the other side is not an option! This was the feeling I had when I came into recovery and I was staring at those 12 steps.

With regard to a person you have had countless negative experiences with, do you think that by predicting, or by expecting that your next encounter with that individual will be negative, that you will in any way, shape, or form affect that person or the potential outcome in a positive manner? That is what you, and I should be shooting for!

Once again, some foods don’t smell bad but they will make you sick while other foods smell bad but won’t make you sick.

GOD ALOTS US SO MUCH ENERGY EACH DAY TO DO OUR TASKS -IF WE WASTE OUR ENERGY DOING OTHERWISE…FOOLISH OR UNWISE ENDEAVORS….

Sure enough, 1st albertsons wants you downloading an app to use their coupons and get their specials. Now Sam’s is doing it just as I predicted. And of course I couldn’t get my pop tarts because I didn’t have the app downloaded which I don’t want to do in the 1st place. How does one put a stop to these things? How does one put a stop to these trends if 1 is not interested in them? Well common not much luck if you’re the only one probably. Not unless you are well versed in being a one-man-show regarding effecting the system. Some are you know. They’re manipulating us through saving money. And most people will find that hard to resist.

GOD is a friend to good people. GOD helps good people. Do you want GOD to be your friend? Do you want GOD’S help? 🤔

Some people never seem to be satisfied. Some people realize they have everything they could possibly need.

People, most people can only focus for a period of time [most people will only want to]. No person can be aware of anything all the time. No person is capable of being aware of all things at all times. As a result we error. Only GOD!!!!

People, most people can only entertain a finite number of relationships.

When people are driving down the street they are only capable of, at least they are generally inclined towards seeing only snapshots of things to their left end to their right. Therefore, a pink elephant in someone’s yard in someone’s yard under the right conditions [at the right place and time] could quite easily be missed.

There are women who provoke fights -and get just that! But there are other women who are about as gentle and sensible as one could ask -and sadly, in their marriages and relationships, they suffer the same grief.

A strong will and a sound mind. Many people like one or the other. Many people have both, many people lack both.

It’s not hard to imagine God doing what’s best for everyone. Since this was probably woven into the fabric of the universe upon creation. What is difficult however, is serving the wants of each and every person, when so many of those people have such little regard for their fellow human-beings. It is highly unlikely that under this premise, GOD will be able to deliver the wants of each and every person -AND UNDERSTABLY SO!

Most people understand simple – The more complicated you make it, the more people you lose. 🤷‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Sometimes it pays to be dumber. That includes intelligent people dummying down. Let me put it this way so as not to offend anyone. In Alcoholics Anonymous we have a saying, “you can’t be too dumb, but you can be too smart to get the program”. And I don’t mean to imply anything against people who are lacking in intelligence. I’ll take a person lacking intelligence but of great character over a person of great intelligence lacking in character anyday. 🤷‍♂️

If everyone had a Ph.D. elitism would be drastically reduced. Sometimes I wonder if this is the reason why our educational systeducational system has gone down so drastically – Seems like a plausible theory. This is from about 20 years ago. Like the man said on “Goodwill Hunting”, mama you’re gonna be serving my kids French fries at a enterprise had a fast food joint. If everyone had a Ph.D. who would collect the garbage, empty the trash cans in our schools? Is good repair or toilets in our sinks Who would repair our toilets and our sinks. Only those with the greatest love for such work I suppose. But the real issue is that some people can’t see an existence where they are not above the majority of humanity. These are the smallest people of all, regardless of the perch they gaze down upon us from.

Try to be precise. When you say you’re gonna be somewhere in 45 minutes do a little calculation in your head and figure out if that’s about how much time it’s going to take for you to arrive with everything you need to do prior. Don’t be lazy or haphazard or thoughtless.

We use life and we use our life experience, for good and for bad. In certain instances we use it like a fulcrum or a lever.

One way of showing love is prying our hands free from those things we cherish most and sharing them with others.

Don’t ever cross that line -AND YOU’LL BE OK

When you grow up with people I guess you kind of mold to them.. When you don’t grow up with them, then, or you do for a little while, and then you are a strange drum them, and then you meet him later in life it can be quite the shock. It can be quite difficult to get along or accept one another. I’m guessing that’s the case with me and my siblings.

Keep everything about JESUS, except for the miracles and things would be quite different with regard history’s view of HIM. I wonder if HIS apostles would have followed HIM had HE not performed the miracles HE performed? The lack of miracles would have helped HIS cause and heard it perhaps.

I wish to reiterate the fact that my creditors have been perfectly consistent over the last 10 years with regard to sending me bills*. I wish I could say the same thing about family. It’s a pity we have so much zeal for money and so little in many cases for love for each other. At least that’s my experience.

* JC Penney missed a couple a couple of years ago I have to admit.
