When you have to think, think! When you don’t, don’t!

Some people believe respect for others is something earned. Some people believe respect for others is something deserved. Some people believe respect for others is a gift they give to themselves [once again, Thank You Lord for giving this last one back]. π
Animals may not understand why human beings entirely, but I’d like to think that God tells them somehow what’s in our hearts.
Neither is probably a very good thing calm but it’s probably better to have somebody angry at you than afraid of you. Having someone you care about being afraid of you is the last thing in the world you should ever want.
The resulting emotion in the aftermath of venture course between 2 human beings can range from fear, to trauma, to disappointment, to regret, to arrogance.
UPDATE: I stated in a previous post yesterday, “doing the wrong thing doesn’t always turn out to be the wrong thing. It’s a crazy universe we live in -so it seems. God can always put to good use… though I don’t recommend intentionally…. Generally speaking, when we do the wrong thing it’s usually for personal benefit. And, just how beneficial is it we must ask ourselves.
Looking at it from a broad perspective, given the way many men treat women, they either:
β’ Don’t like them;
β’ Have a problem with them:
β’ Are confused about how to treat them:
β’ All of the above.
I’m thinking about some of the observations in my earlier life with regard to how men treat women.
Short is better, keep it short!

Which is the problem with drugs, supply or demand? If you get rid of all the drug suppliers you end up with a population filled with people who are forced to deal with their issues otherwise. If you get rid of all the all the drug users, you’re left with a bunch of drug dealers with no way to sell their drugs.. if get rid of bothβ¦. Let’s face it though, there’s not enough room in jail, prison or treatment centers to deal with all the people doing drugs illegally. As for the people selling them and manufacturing themβ¦.. Probably the same thing. So if that’s not a viable solution what is?
I received this reply to a post which I have now removed for purposes of anonymity. I read it earlier this morning, sent my reply and left it at that. Later it brought to mind some thoughts about previous comments I had heard years past. I want to briefly go over my thoughts with you.

I imply, I do know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you can repair if you werent too busy searching for attention.”
The term “whining” and the phrase “searching for attention” are what stood out now, and initially. Interestingly, there appears to be a group of people whose pet-peeve is people who complain for example, the world’s not fair, or I’m assuming, due to a lack of attention, or due to an over abundance of attention regarding certain individuals, certain onlookers seem to be compelled to comment. I’m finding it a little hard to be clear, but at the same time I don’t want to draw this out. Complaining and attention getting appear to be viewed as rudimentary by certain individuals (they also appear to be relatively prevalent among our society).
1. Who doesn’t complain -whether it’s done openly or behind closed doors? The correct answer would be very few in an arrogant, self-centered, largely immature society such as ours;
2. All [intelligent (so I’ve been told)] creatures need attention (stimulation, interaction) or they die. Some seem to get it naturally, while others seem to have to work for it. Some people seem to pretend they’re getting it naturally, when deep down inside they’re working very hard for it. Some people are jealous of people who get attention. Some people are jealous of people who aren’t afraid to ask for attention. Some people feel threatened by people manipulating others to get attention. In a world, or rather in a country, where so many things are offered to us which we really do not need, attention I can assure you is not one of them! Many people in our country go to great lengths to gain attention. Many people I’m told going to acting and other celebrity… to get attention. They say some people go into law enforcement because of the power and control they are afforded over others. They say some people go into owning a business because they cannot take orders or get along well with others. Human beings do things for many hidden reasons. Inspirit but there is generally a core set of motivations among us which trace back to a need. And just about all of us are guilty of it in one area or another. Whatt it boils down to is this, “Take the beam out of your own eye so you may better see, and thus remove the speck out of your brothers.”
If you’re looking for some sensible approach to life from all human beings human beings rebarking up the wrong tree.
Criticism and judgment can be useful if done in the right way, based upon factual evidence. However, more often than not, the poeple who wield it -have no idea what they’re doing, and their motives most certainly are not founded in love.

What’s all the hoopla about?
Yesterday while I was cooking a thought came back to me that I had failed to enter as as opposed to, then the water started boiling over at the stove in front of me and I completely forgot what it was I wanted to write about. I had a fairly bad day yesterday, and I was pretty angry for much of it. It was very difficult for me to ask God to please to please Grant me the memory so that I could glorify him and I’m and benefit his children through the post. It came to me this morning about 15 minutes ago minutes ago, 11:45 AM or so. First of all, Thank You Lord for answering my less than serene prayer request. OK, so it goes like this:
“Sometimes one (good) reason isn’t enough to propel us or dissuade us in so far as acting on a decision goes. But two…”
I’ve never been a big fan of domestic chores -like Bill Wilson (co-founder Alcoholics Anonymous). So, my solution for those fellow… do a room here, a room there… dust a little one day, vacuum another, the kitchen next week, the bathroom…

Kindness towards animals.
Some people appear to be impervious to kindness.
Are we human beings a good and kind species capable of being problematic; or are we a problematic species capable of being good, and kind?
If you are struggling with human beings… it seems to be going around!

If you cannot calculate whether the odds are in your favor or the house’ favor, then simply rely on human nature as you’re guide… Whoever is making the rules invariably gives themselves the benefit of the doubt or the cushion. For example, in the 2021 it was in 21 league championship series where the dodgers are playing the Atlanta Braves, clearly the braves have the advantage and yet they continue to place the dodgers as it’s the dodgers as the favorite thus lowering the odds or payback should they win. There’s probably a flipside to that coin as well…
As I said a couple 2 or 3 decades ago, when times are good and you feel bad, what are you gonna feel like when times are bad?
Today is the day I have long awaited. The day in which I have lived the exact number of days my father lived.
