When a person begins to look back on their seemingly bleak, dismal life, and see some of the good things that were interwoven throughout; some of the good things that came out of it; with a sense of perspective, a sense of humilty; true healing has begun to take place [and sanity has begun to blossom once again].

A lie stops being a lie until the truth is told. Everything in the universe created by God runs accordingly; according to a perfect truth! Perhaps the real warp in our universe -is the lies and deceptions told by imperfect beings. Somehow this must have an adverse effect expect on the universe somewhere.

Sometimes God blesses us (with…)*:

*and of course, during -AND ALWAYS; IN EVERY CASE; OUT OF LOVE. And often times, with the best possible reason. He always wants to let us know He’s there. How could we not possibly know that God is there? The most pervasive thing in the entire universe?

Again, man has trouble trouble determining God’s existence because hes everywhere. Indefinable, boundless…

One person gets offended about something come another person giggles or is flattered about it. Is it offensive or not?

Many people don’t realize that a relationship perhaps more than anything else in the universe requires constant work, feeding, nurturing, tilling. Of course no part of the universe that we know of is void of relationships.

The Alcoholics Anonymous program does not require renovation, innovation… However it does require new blood and an occasional invigorating.

You cannot fake being strong! Can you lift a 500 pound barbell? You cannot fake being strong for others? You say you can? Did it work? Then how can you consider it faking?

I was never able to fully concede to my innermost self I was powerless over anything -until I gave it a 100% and failed -I reached that place late in 1989 with regard to my addictions. 86, 87, 88, early 89 were all a joke. Quit drinking at 22 -😄

There’s nothing more inspiring or beautiful than a human being fighting for another human being -Particularly when the person they are fighting for is fighting against them! There’s nothing more uninspiring or damning then a human being fighting against another human being -Particularly when that other human being is trying to help them!

You’re approached to life, you’re approached to people as either benign or it is not. That little chip on my shoulder disqualifies me for an undeniably benign rating. It’s true! 😔

You should try it, going out on the street and asking for money. For two reasons:

• (L)earn some humility;

• See what people out there are really like when it comes to helping the needy;

• Learn what people in need go through. In fact, why don’t you set up a situation where you really do need those contributions from people for a couple of days.

Sidenote: Not being impartial when you want to be could be his easiest thing in the world. Being impartial when you don’t want to be is the hardest thing in the world.

When you suggest to others that they think of and do for others, and they come back with nobody ever did anything for me, you tell them they didn’t get where they did all by themselves God help them -so do it for God.

The more options an individual recognizes both inside and outside of the Box and I’m at the moor app they are to make errors, but also get it right! 🤷‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

Something is a lot easier when you know what you’re doing and it is impossible when you don’t. I’m guessing based on other peoples people’s comments that I have the hardware, but I don’t have the software. If I wanted to improve on my software for example, for example, and figure out what makes a woman tick and do what is necessary to be set up and style for the rest of my life I probably could. But we could. But something like that really doesn’t interest me-deception.

WE DO NOT COMPROMISE ON THE PRINCIPLES OF THE AA PROGRAM!

People tend to get the principles confused with confused with other things that can and perhaps should be compromised or changed. It’s very important that we always know where that line is. Between that which can or should be changed and that which cannot or should not be changed.

Sometimes 1 rule or a change in policy will not bring the whole thing toppling down – Oftentimes it’s the slow drip trend which repeats itself until what you started out with no longer looks like it did originally. A lot of people can’t catch this while it is going on especially over a drawn out period of time. Alcoholics Anonymous needs to remain mindful of this as much as any other entity or organization.

Just because somebody doesn’t speak up doesn’t mean they’re not being affected by what’s going on around them.

So what change is start to take place as we move up the ladder of intelligence from person to person?

I have to grow in spite of myself and in spite of the world around me.

If you are willing to do more than the circumstances and more than what man himself demands of you as as a consequence -then you have nothing to fear. It is only when we are of the mind of doing or giving less than what is demanded of a sore required of us that we experience fear.

Flexibility is a spiritual principle, rigidity is not. When you put in rules like closing the meeting promptly at 8 o’clock, telling people not to be texting publicly on zoom, and placing a 3 minute time limit on people, who are you serving?

An alcohol it’s anonymous the fewer the rules the better – It is the indication of a healthy group.

Fewer rules in a society I an indication of a healthier society – So I guess the United States must not be filled with very healthy people

We’re trying to enhance the quality of the group for all, not lower it.

Alcoholics probably aren’t much different now than they were 80 years ago – The people in Alcoholics Anonymous today are probably the same as they were last year, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 50 years ago… that that includes certain people going over on the time period so what’s changed that we need to be timing people and putting in new rules? It’s quite simple, P people today are less tolerant than the people who apeople were a year, 5 years, 15 years ago in the 7:00 a.m. sober @ sunrise meeting.

Even if I got my own way -people did everything I wanted them to, what would I have? What would I gain. Picture a person filthy rich and powerful karma people at his or her beckoned call. Surrounded by yes men and yes women. Would there be any growth? Who people actually admire and respect this individual freely? When we take an extreme view of things it tends to give us better perspective. In Alcoholics Anonymous there’s a saying, think the drink through – When we rush in time, and try to envision the end result -we can act more appropriately in the here and now, and hopefully make the right adjustments before-hand. Before it’s too late in many instances. I think engineers are renowned for this sort of approach.

From a very early age, I got a slap across my face that sent ripples through my… and shivers down my spine! For the remainder of most of my natural life… Fear, and the bolstering of my badly injured ego…

Ego + Fwar are formidable adversaries.

I didn’t learn about things like love and tolerance and patience by laying down a bunch of rules that cater to my anxieties anxieties and selfish inclinations. This seems to be what’s going on in the 7:00 a.m. meeting. If you let an alcoholic get away with it, they will cater to their alcoholism.

What happens when the majority vote turns out to be wrong? What happens when the majority vote is based more upon the issue then the feelings of the minority?? We have it in our capacity to Pasadena to sway our vote based upon how the decision is affecting a smaller minority of the group.

People in this country have grown too self conscious..

You can’t have violence without anger. Violence is always preceded by hanger, or fear.

Some people at the group conscious level, have no idea what effects the changes they are bringing into the group or having on the group and under the individual as well. How college anonymous was carefully planned and guided by a spiritual… I’ve set up a 4 com in a million years a million alcoholics would never be able to duplicate the program that was given to us by God if left to their own devices.

Alcoholics non Anonymous doesn’t require leaders, innovators, shakers and movers…. It requires people who know how to follow instructions and nothing more.

I didn’t make up the rules for the 7:00 a.m. meeting-they were here before I got here and I’ve had to conform to them.. Not supplant them with my own!

There’s at least 2 kinds of unhappy:

•Unhappy because you don’t like what’s going on;

•Unhappy based upon something you don’t realize is going on.

Alcoholics Anonymous is not a business, and its foundation is spiritual principles karma and therefore innovation and evolution evolution are not required-in fact they are detrimental!*

Young people go along with things because they don’t know any better calm because they assume that the people bringing things up know what they’re talking about. The problem is two-fold:

1. You’re not practicing individualistic thinking;

2. Some of these people who are bringing things to the forefront don’t know what they’re talking about -or doing;

3. Adding fuel to the fire by standing behind them when you don’t know what they’re doing and they don’t know what they’re doing could turn out to be designed you’re not to be disastrous in the end.

3. Many people operate out of ignorance but some people operate out of selfishness or true intent of mouth Int of malice. That is why it is so important for you and me to know what’s going on.

*Alcoholics Anonymous is a spiritually based program-and spiritual program-and spiritual principles do not evolve evolve, or innovate, or change-it is the one constant in the universe contrary to many a man’s own nature.

There’s too much personality and too little principle going on in that 7:00 a.m. meeting.

I see certain people in this meeting possibly overly concerned about how this meeting functions. Our primary concern by far should be:

• Is practicing these principles;

• Constant thought of others and how we may best serve them;

• Working with the alcoholic who still suffers.

• We are in the world to play the role God assigns us, to that extent are we able to match Calamity with Serenity.

You know what good guys and bad guys who are successful both have in common – They all have a (beautiful) woman!

Sidenote: There are things in life that happen that can be changed -and there are things in life that happen that cannot be changed. With regard to the things in life that happen that cannot be changed -our only recourse is that we change. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

I was thinking earlier today about the evolution of man – presumably tied in with a constant need for change in modern day America. But is the change going on in America for example about evolution or something else? The ebb and flow of evolution with regard to man seems to be progression, digression, progression, digression. But the evolution going on with man appears to be it’s supposed to be primarily based upon man himself. Of course nature is involved within us -but what about outside of us?

It seems to me that man always has to come up with some catchy name for something these days – At times crossing over the line to plain silliness.

It’s a terrible thing to see somebody who loves you dearly -turned against you through your own fault. To see them go from loving you to hating you or fearing you.

Some people can be 10 miles away from a nuclear blast and nit’s just and not be too terribly affected by it the remainder of their lives. That same person however, could be affected drastically the remainder of their lives simply because their father didn’t show up to a soccer game when they were in 7th grade -the mind, the heart of a human being is very mysterious indeed.

Very few people invent something from essentially nothing at all.

Many people who either have too much or too little often end up alone. I happen to have a combination of the 2. And I am pretty much alone.

Jesus almost never got angry at people for doing wrong intentionally -We humans get angry at people all the time for doing wrong unintentionally. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Every once in a while we get to observe perfection – Most of the time however, is either good enough or not good enough for government work.

Balance-for the given, apparently social climate, I would be considered skewed not balanced [serious].

They say we men have a problem with overbearing, aggressive women in the workplace. Personally, I don’t care for men or women who are as such. I think it lacks humility.

it is simply amazing how many people have strengths and weaknesses so varied -seldom do you meet a well-rounded person anymore (where we live anyways).

2 things, have a short memory and stay on task like Jesus did.

With this covid going on, I overheard a conversation about the raiders football team and not allowing people into the games who did not get vaccinated. We are very quick in this society to point out count which are privileges and very slow to point out which are right. We are very quick as a society to cut off people from privileges but very slow and ensuring that everyone has their needs and their rights honored.

No matter what’s going on in our lives common no matter what’s going on around us, the people around us should be 1st and foremost on our minds-not last!

There’s worse things in life than people who speak and untimely or inconvenient truth from time to time period though some people might not agree!
