Practice makes… something.
This came to me 25 or more years ago. So you’ll pardon me if I couldn’t remember the tag line I’m. But I have but a 1/2 an hour later God was great gracious enough to remind me. Thank You Lord ππ» π
I guess we’re all a little different when it comes to taking the initiative. Some people are too afraid to be rejected to ask somebody out. But he ought to. Other people are too afraid to be embarrassed asking somebody isomebody if they’ll take a lower price for something they’re interested in purchasing. I’m one of the people who has a problem with the former but not the latter. I assume there’s people out there who have more of a problem with the latter and less with the former. There are many other examples I suppose.
I am beginning to see now why my approach towards people all of my life is not worked. Had I been dealing with a different type of human being all together, my approach may have been received differently -or, they likely would have had an impact on my own approach π€·ββοΈ
You know why God allows bad people to roam the Earth, allows satan to roam the earth.β¦ Two reasons, no three:
1. He wants to give bad people every opportunity to repent;
2. Bad people come and yes even satan serve a useful purpose;
3. Because whatever they can do to us isn’t nearly as important as what’s in our hearts. Now you or I may not have our priorities in the same order-but that is the way God sees it -I believe π€·ββοΈ
Do you have a humble home? Or do you have an extravagant one?
Stop being negative! Stop being positive! Start being spiritual-when negative thoughts come to your mind pray for other people!
Learning may start with being introduced to something, it may proceed furthee through taking action upon it, but it is completed only by accepting it. Or is it that accepting is only the beginning?
If your son went to Vietnam and died, I’m, and somebody refused to acknowledge that fact -how would you feel? How did people react when people started questioning whether the holocaust really happened? How do you think God feels when people question whether his son existed -whether His son died on the cross for our sins?
Afterthought: Schindler didn’t you save thousands of Jews come he saved thousands and tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of future Jews -yet to be born. The same could be said of Alcoholics Anonymous!
I’ve heard some people say they take issue with the term “tolerate” as stated in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
I myself initially took issue with phrases such as “Fake it til you make it”.
Most of us do not know what true sanity is because we’re not taught it. There are very few examples in this country anymore. When ISRAEL knew what true sanity was, and practiced it, they were on top of the world -DEFYING ALL ODDS!
People who combat evil, who combat wrong-doing, often suffer greatly. Even suffer loss of life! Most people don’t want to suffer. Most people do not want to lose their life. So they’re willingness to challenge the aforementioned is severely compromised. Most people are not heroes -and if they are, they’re keeping it to themselves.
