Like for instance, right now I should be hot sitting in my apartment, but I’m not. The closer I stick to God and His plan, the more of these types of things I notice occurring.
How is it that in freezing temperatures we can feel like we’re burning up -while in blistering temperatures we feel like we’re freezing to death? Mind? Mind over…?
In general, there’s usually some bogus justification or reasoning before someone does something stupid. Just ask any judge! On the other hand, some people are actually ahead of the curve….. They actually have a good reason for doing something seemingly stupid stupid-but in the eyes of the court it’s considered bogus! It’s usually one side or the other that’s guilty of insanity on some level.
I don’t have a problem with rich people. I don’t have a problem with poor people. I don’t have a problem with people of ethnicity. I tend to have a problem with maladjusted people though. People who wear towards harm and exploitation of others. When I hurt, and exploited people as a younger man -I didn’t care much for myself either! 🤷♂️
Some people get behind the wheel of a car and their personality changes. Or their real personality comes out! 🙆♂️
When I’m on the road driving in my little town, I find it quite annoying that the people driving around me, and passed me treat me as if I were an inconvenience -or simply in the way. When I stand at the crosswalk’s, people seldom, if ever, stop to let me cross. Gimme back good old days -anytime!
One thing that took me a very long time to learn was that the way people act probably isn’t directed at me personally personally-these people people simply treat others that way in general. Now when I was younger and problematic…
You can learn some very interesting things while transitioning as a human being. I’m sure some people for example know by experience that as you improve your status/circumstances in life, you attract more -and different types of people. I wouldn’t know anything about that from a strictly financial perspective. But I do know this… I was quite an unhealthy individual when I was younger and for many years thereafter, and 🤔 I had a lot more women attracted to me than I do now that I am far more healthy. Ana even appears less attracted to me now than she was when we 1st met, what I was younger and knew little about real love and real love and respect for a woman. 🤷♂️
Looking at and hearing many stories through the years for the years… looking at my own place in the world among my fellow men…. Being single with no date in sight… I can only surmise that many women are attracted to dysfunctional relationships and have issues with self esteem -and what (who) they deserve in life.
It’s really unfair the stigma and the pressure we put on women to be the jewels of society -if nothing else, physically! It’s a lot of pressure to bear and it’s a shallow expectation (on societies part) at best!
Old -white people rock! I used to tell Ana all the time “old white people rule!”. I think she thought me a little prejudicial. Anyways, several years into our relationship she moved into a beautiful little trailer park down the road from me-primarily Caucasian call occasion folk. I found myself saying it more and more… lol She began to view my comment with disdain. As she was finding out 1st hand that not all the glitters is gall the glitters is gold-ha! I got to make some observations of my own and this is my summation: These people appear to be overly protective is protective of the (old) system and the rules of the trailer park. And while I found it somewhat annoying, even a bit offensive at times…. What I came out of that experience with was that I would rather be surrounded by people who are overly protective of the rules of society end of life then to be surrounded by people people who have a tendency and an attitude of trampling all over it/them.
I was thinking about the attitude of some of the people in the local area here and found myself having to confess that I have one myself… I really don’t like the way I’ve been treated in all the years I’ve lived here. Maybe they don’t either* 🤷♂️
My dad gave me some advice many years ago that goes like this (not necessarily the best mind you):
• Be your own man, be a man….
• With regard to women it’s better to be an S.O.B. than a fool ( In my personal experience I think some women prefer a man who’s something of a jerk then then someone who has no savvy -and that’s all I’ll say on that one!
•American women are the most arrogant creatures on the planet (Some of course will agree with us and some won’t. I’ll reserve my own opinion).
And while I’m in the mood I guess I’ll throw in a couple from my grandmother:
• The way to get over one woman is to find another (I find this to be particularly bad advice looking back although I must admit I took it many a time 😒).
•Never trust a man! Oh, And never trust a woman either! WT…* 🤷♂️
*I often pondered… “If you can’t trust your own parents -who can you trust?” 😔
Bonus: Many years ago we were at my aunt and Uncle’s house watching a movie. In a particular scene a woman made a is made of very very crude and heartless act…. I made a gesture………………………. My aunt turned to me and said women can be more ruthless than a man… My personal opinion is that… my personal experience is that both men and women both can be ruthless at times. I think it’s more of an individual called than a gender call frankly. My feeling is more or less this although I am human.. As long as there is one good person in the world common humanity can’t be all bad.. As long as there is 1 bad person in the world humanity can’t be all good!
*if there’s any advantage I may have over Jesus Christ (my Lord and Savior) it’s perhaps this: I’m flawed; and maybe, just maybe I can reach some people thru first admitting those flaws and; secondly, by pointing out such things as the practicing of self-acceptance and; thirdly, the enormous growth and benefit of turning it around. I remember, vaguely, the first time I chose Y (something new) rather than X (my usual approach) 🤔 -and how the outcome of Y versus X was like night and day. One of the great rules of the universe, and beyond is this: “Do something different; get something different.”
The good thing about being the one with the problem is… I can do something about it. If you’re the problem, chances are I can’t!
There’s a difference between having problems and being the problem and… (this is a new wrinkle I’ll throw in just for free) not having any problems -only opportunities 🤷♂️
It’s very easy for us human beings to develop a reputation around others.. But I don’t think people had reputations with God I think there are far too many of us……! And God is far too all-knowing… (and far too mature, and therefore loving) to be slapping labels on us -Dont you think
People have lived the same way for 1000s of years; now they can’t seem to live the same way (without something new) for one 🤷♂️
You see the rapid progression of man evidenced in today’s modern world -that is when he gets his footing and sets his mind to something. So he should be able to do so in the spiritual sense as well yes? So much energy going into commerce -imagine all this energy and technology put into making our 🌍 a better place*!
DON’T INVEST IN THINGS WHICH MAKE YOU VULNERABLE -INVEST IN THINGS THAT MAKE YOU UNTOUCHABLE, UNREACHABLE!
Be strong and inconspicuous. Of late, I have made myself visible (esoteric 🤷♂️) while at the same time weakened ->spiritually as well as physically.
*Mankind is giving up on the struggles of emotional and spiritual well-being. He has determined the small pay-off is not worth the immense struggle. Man’s interests lie in his physical well-being and gratification! Just as God foretold -and precisely where satan, and his fellow man are able to get a foothold!**
**Jesus showed us specifically how to free ourselves from the grip of both satan and man.
You know that’s what he wants -right? Anything of God stamped out -silenced!
In my humble opinion -the worst childhood is not the good one, and it’s not the bad one, it’s the one that is an endless combination of good and bad!
