The more muscle groups you stimulate to growth, major and minor… The greater your gains will be. The more stable that part of the body will be.

If you concentrate on one muscle group only-that is if you are struggling with multiple muscle groups… You can then use the strength of that 1 muscle group as a platform for all the others. However you may risk injuring the weaker muscle groups in the process.

TWO LIES DON’T MAKE A TRUTH

Somebody or something whispers a lie in your ear and screws you all up -so then you tell yourself your own lie to straighten out the wrinkle emotionally. And as it turns out, your lie was not too much of a lie after all. And it definitely did the trick anyways -it got you back on track emotionally. 🙆‍♂️ My friend Lenelle used to tell her self stuff all the time… Things that for example would piss me off…. Like people running a stop sign in front of me at the 4 way? She would tell herself things like maybe they have to go to the bathroom. Maybe their wife’s having a baby… Maybe there breaks one out… She would tell herself things just to diffuse the situation.

Some people are very good at diffusing a situation. Many more are not. If I’m pissed about something as a customer… And I get on the phone with a representative or I go back to the store and deal with an employee…. And my anger and frustration are only increasing… that employee or representative is practicing escalation rather than diescalation -because even if the employee or representative cannot resolve the issue, the fact that they are showing empathy or not showing empathy; the fact that they are showing a great interest in resolving my issue or not showing a great interest in resolving my issue; the fact that they themselves are calm and respectful or not calm and not respectful… All these things add up to the direction in which my mood goes. True story

THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS

How is it that some people almost always seem to succeed? What’s their secret? When you’ve eliminated all risk of failure the only outcome is success. People miscalculate. People leave something out in their calculations. People’s perceptions are not in line with reality. Then of course others have a tendency to throw a wrench into… Or maybe it’s simply not God’s will.*

Being in touch with reality

Uncommon sense

Sixth sense

What’s The Secret to never being disappointed -never failing? To simply be as water as Bruce Lee stated. To have no agenda other than that of life’s agenda -God’s agenda!

Life’s unpredictable enough with one nervous system in the mix -start throwing in multiples… 🤷‍♂️ (relationships)**

*Sure, God gives us free well… But that doesn’t mean that when our will is in collision with God’s will -that we win.

** I used to think relationships were like a plaything or… Like plucking an Apple off of a tree. Now I know they are the most demanding, rewarding… They taxes like nothing else in the universe! And if we are truly to succeed we must be at the top of our game when engaging in one:

•Sanity

•Maturity

It always amazes me how a system comprised of (built around?) people… how can so many people be limited in their success(es) when dealing with…. well, people! I mean calm if we were dealing with aliens, aliens that we didn’t have much grasp on an understanding of… but it appears to me… that many of us when dealing with our fellow human beings -don’t have much of a grasp on an understanding of… 🤷‍♂️ And I wonder… I wonder… If we all had the sort of grasp or understanding of one another that one might expect…. I wonder how that would impact the elitism (elitists) of our 🌍? Is this breach or break being perpetuated? Fostered? People who absolutely insist on -having power or being in charge are always up to something!

YOU GOT TO KNOW WHEN TO HOLD’EM…

Poker is an excellent example of knowing when to win and when to lose. In life however people go for the gold every time. If that was the strategy employed in poker you’d end up broke. A lot of people don’t see the correlation but the fact of the matter is you need to know when to lose and when to win in life in order to come out on top in the end.
