Some people are never the same; and that’s not a bad thing –It’s more of a “testimony to…”

Do you think that even from a legal standpoint, a piece of paper matters more than the way 2 people feel about each other? I’ve seen people turned away because somebody they loved who was in the hospital badly injured or dying….. because there wasn’t a piece of paper between the 2 of them listing legal commitment.

The government seemed keen on separating the church from itself -but what about separating itself from the church? Didn’t marriage originate through church and religion? Mark then what gives the government the right to marry people, [and] to marry people whose intent is an abomination to God Himself who created it for the sole intention of…!!!!!!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

If there’s anything we learned about such things as the black movement, and the women’s movement, it’s these 2 things:

1. The indomitable spirit of the human spirit The indomitable spirit of the human spirit, and;

2. If you want something in this country you either have to earn it or fight for it; Nothing gets given to you -Even if what you’re fighting against happens to be an injustice! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏿‍♂️

There are worse ways to spend your day than:

•Staying sober

•Watching TV

•Writing down whatever God gives you to write down

•Turning to him and all things -and thanking Him

•Going for walks

•Going to the grocery store

There’s only 2 ways to approach a situation:

•Selfishly, and;

•Unselfishly.

People are always trying to make statements these days it means these days, in movies, in commercials, in the news…

People never do anything with the idea of losing – But is that the best way to approach life?

Far too many people think that money is the answer to their problems. The only thing money buys to some degree is safety and comfort. Prestige? Are these really the most important things?

Man always has a motive for doing something-especially in business, when it comes to money.

Speaking of business, most people oh constantly dream of expansion -While some are perfectly happy with what they have.

People in Hollywood, most of them dream of making it to the top – While some are perfectly happy with where they’re at!

What do you think you’re supposed to be learning from this situation? This is probably a question that should be on our mind quite often. Does the bigger the situation mean the bigger the lesson? Not necessarily. I do have the distinct feeling that all of this solitude carrie’s with it a pretty big lesson -as it has been coming for the past 4 and a 3/4 years. That’s how long it has been since my friend lenell passed away. And it’s the last vacation I’ve seen.

To Ana come in certain ways leaving her husband for me would be would be a step down from the lifestyle she enjoys right now. To me it would be a step up for me.

Practice for example speaking at home even if you are alone. Choose your subjects and your subject and speak to them – And perhaps truth will begin to flow as it did with me at the recovery unit once again.

Most of us have one sort of relationship or another:

•The 1st is based on performance, and what we bring to the table;

•The 2nd has nothing to do with the first one.

A lot of women will stick by their children based on the 2nd premise. But they will not stick to their husband’s based on the 1st premise. Some men as well.

Some people have neither type of relationship -for whatever reason.

THAT THING YOU DO

Sidenote: Some of us get discouraged while others never seem to. I wonder if it has anything to do with the motivation behind what we do? Or is it the thing itself we are doing?

Some people meet the person that brings them joy before they even have a chance to be the begin to try, or to think about it. Other people will go there entire lives and never meet them. Most of us end up somewhere in between 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷‍♂️

Seldomly do 2 people feel the same way about each other – Certainly not to the same degree.

My understanding of reality -My understanding of God… Is this; we each owe a debt. Now I realize there are a lot of people running around in the world who act like they have it all. I realize there are some people running around in the world who pretend they have it all. But my understanding of the whole thing is that nobody gets it all – Because we each owe a debt that was incurred from the very beginning. Each of us owes a debt for the very nature we ourselves either accept or condone within us. Let’s face it -few of us are hardly Saints. Now if we should choose Sainthood -from a certain reality; the burden only gets heavier; from a nother reality; the burden only gets lighter.

Why do so many more Caucasian women not have children at an early age like hispanics? Why are so many Jewish youth so much more career-oriented than American youth? Why are so many of them doctors, lawyers, dentists, judges…? I mean what is it?

Sidenote: You trudge through the difficult times with people around you, children… and if we keep a more-orless level head. and then 10, 15, 30 years later -they realize how good you were to them. And sometimes they never do -how hard is that.

I was raised by my family to believe that IF ONLY I you would just behave -all would be well; we’d all get along just fine! After many years sober, many counseling sessions is that:

•These people were using me as a scapegoat;

•And if I wanted to fit in I didn’t need to get healthier, I needed to conform.

•A relationship is only as healthy as the sickest person in it.

If you don’t see anything wrong with them -in their mind 🤔 is WHY CHANGE?
