3 of the Stupidest things i’ve ever heard of:

•Buying water (Why didn’t they do this 50 years ago -because no one would have bought into it?). You hear something about impurities in the water and sure enough a certain number of people are going to buy into it.

•Paying someone to take your money -This one I still haven’t gotten over (Why didn’t they do this 50 years ago -because no one (pardon the pun) would have bought into it -so why did we). So why did we? Well 1st of all, who are we supposed to complain to… They’ve made it so Americans no longer have a voice in Washington and no longer have a voice in corporate America.They don’t care and apparently a lot of us don’t either. If we as Americans give them the statistical information they’re looking for -they’re gonna use it against us -every time! DON’T GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!*

•And my favorite one on the list: Remove all of the 10 commandments from government buildings. Can you think of things hurting this country a lot worse than “The 10 Commandments” on the doorstep of a courthouse? The people who put them there probably knew a lot more about the people who founded this country than we ever did -their mind set…. It may have even been some of the people who founded this country that started that idea. I remember a letter coming out of Russia stating that if you did not like -or we’re offended by those things we stand for; such as our stance on homosexuality…. Then you don’t have to come to our country! Meanwhile, here in the United States were worried about offending foreigners and people of various beliefs. I was born on this soil and I like the 10 commandments just where they’re at!!!! Anyone who tries to please everyone… is a fool!**

*Why do you think conman use the tactics they use?? Why do you think certain men use the tactics they use on certain women?? Why do you think politicians use the tactics they use?? BECAUSE THEY WORK (A CERTAIN % OF THE TIME!!!!). Men abruptly hit on women because a certain percentage of women either fall for it or are charmed by it. If you have an issue with men’s behavior then start by going to your own kind and telling them not to fall for it or encouraged. 😔🤷‍♀️

**The people who founded this country, and their children, and their children’s children…… What, they had it all wrong! And those of us whose children are living at home mooching off of us (and voting on important issues in this country)***, we feel qualified to start changing the values in this country? The impressions made on children and very in various ways no longer apply a yesterday as they did a 100 years ago when they were so many laws and policies in policies in place that protect the children that are falling by the wayside now? Things that protected the American Family such as stringent ratings on movies which are now melting away like the polar-ice-caps. It used to be that a 5 year old child could get into the movies for free now it’s what 2 years old? Everything they are doing is designed to get more and more money at the expense of our heritage, at the expense of our -everything they are doing is designed to get more and more money at the expense of our heritage, at the expense of our children in many cases. In fact, you could even say there’s a devil in the details -it’s gotten that bad! Sodomy’s just an outdated law that should have been gotten rid of a long time ago -really! And I wonder who the people are who are subverting these laws? What are they doing behind closed doors?

***They should make it illegal devote in this country if you don’t want to work! They say don’t bitch if you don’t vote. I say get off my back as long as one vote isn’t going to make a difference.

You know I like movies from the nineties so much? To reasons:

•It was the time when I first got sober and still had hope for the future, and;

•The scourge that is man was less pronounced, less intrusive on his fellow man back than it is now.

We still have freedom, but what is freedom without privacy? Man is intruding more and more on his fellow man every day! And if man at this very moment is listening in on people plotting crimes, engaging in child rape and murder, how long will he stand by and listen only? When is “Minority Report” going to become a reality? And now that we have given up our privacy, how long before we lose our freedom? The name of the game is, and always has been to tip the scales in one’s own favor; and keep on tipping!!!!

When this country was founded by the people who 1st came here they lived by the philosophy “give me liberty or give me death.” Now it’s changed to “I’ll give you back some of my liberty -if you keep me safe so I can enjoy what liberties I have left”. It was only a matter of time before bravery and selflessness gave way too cowardice and selfishness -many a man’s default model!

You know when I heard on the news that a couple who owned a catering business were threatened with having their business taken away if they refuse to cater to a gay couple getting married even though it went against their own religious beliefs. What happened to the separation between church and state? And wasn’t married something started in the church? And isn’t the church against homosexuality yeah since homosexuality? So what’s with people getting married -and the state giving permission? Isn’t marriage a religious sacrament?

Acceptance of others -a crucial element in relationships, seems to be beyond my grasp(👊)! 😔

Bill Wilson speaks of starting where we’re at in our recovery come accepting ourselves and our circumstances end constances and moving forward from there with a plan for life that works in rough going – After years and years of blame, humiliation, finger pointing and being shamed – I could not accept myself as I was. It was only when I began to change that acceptance of myself began to materialize. And since the people around me seem to have changed so little through the years….. The same people who hurt me as a child are the same people who exist in the world are around me today. I cannot seem to find it within me to accept them as they are. As badly as I long to be loved and have relationships which were absent all of my life -IT DOESN’T SEEM POSSIBLE

My Ana – the woman I ❤ mostly dearly, more than I have loved any other -and I cannot seem to overlook her testing, her prodding and poking of me! Nor can I seem to lay her fears to rest which compel her to act as such 😪

In practically every era of man’s history, man requires of himself to give meaning to to a selection of things. What are those things today? What were they 80 or a 100 years ago? What were they a 1000 years ago? By meaning I suppose I mean importance.

This evening I was reminded once again that human beings are opportunistic creatures. 4000 guns on a Sunday night sitting in the cabela’s libraryeah cabela’s library and the one I’ve been looking at since yesterday is gone and there’s still 3967 other ones that haven’t been touched – But of course the one I’m interested in has to fly out the door on Sunday night

Why fret over one missed opportunity simply because you’re aware of it? You’ve missed 5 more in the same span of time period 10 more. A 100 more. A 1000 more. Of which you are unaware – Are you going to mourn those as well?

What’s the point of making money if you can’t spend it? And while you’re at it, why not eek-out the best deal possible? People are always looking for deals… When there’s a deal or something free a Best Buy in our local little town the line just goes all the way around the corner

In all my life I have scarcely known any responsibility for the care of another human being 😔

I believe there is something missing within those of us who have never known the love and care of and for a child. One has not, cannot come full-circle until they have.

Given certain experiences a certain observations of late, How it works goes like this: Your parents take care of you while you’re growing up; You take care of them while they’re growing old.

There is just something about people who refuse to have children.

There is a transition most people must go through at some point in their life. That transition is the recognition that certain dreams simply will not come to fruition.. Some people manage to make this transition while others simply:

•Refuse to accept it (unhappy)

•Refuse to go on (living)

•Experience impaired faculties (mental, emotional)

Doctor Carl Jung, the renound Psychiatrist states that right around 35-40, people begin to question whether the material world is all there is. That there’s gotta be something more substantial, something more rewarding in life then making babies, going to work, paying bills, having a good time -The Kennedys were a fine example of folks who recognized that money was not everything -nor was it enough.

I remember wanting a gold match years ago – And within only a few searches I found one for $1200 like new condition vision with the bushnell laser eye-sight msrp $999 on it. Amazing.

I remember a gentleman locally selling some guns. One of the guns I had longed for was that 1 in 10000 that comes out of the factory perfect. The gentleman’s name was Terry which I bought an AR15 from. He told me about a pair of ordinance that was 1 in 10000 that he had just sold.. A week or 2 later I was looking in the paper and found another gun I was interested in period it turns out that the gentleman who was selling that gun had bought The para from Terry a month earlier. For whatever reason that gun which he bought for his girlfriend because she also was from Canada…. He let it go and sold it to me for 700 bucks. Amazing amazing!

Bass Pro Shops, another example of one company swallowing up another and then doing away with a lot of the perks. I put several guns on lay away with with cabela’s. Even got a veteran’s discount. When Bass Pro Shops bought them up that all went away.
