The photo occurred to me last night while reflecting for a moment – Giving Daisy our little Chihuahua bath and getting dinner ready… I’ve been all over the place for most of my life. Searching for so long with a broken 🧭. I think what I put myself through later in life was worse than what I went through in my childhood. That’s why it’s so important for you parents to get it right!

A lot of women tend to avoid men who are downers because quite often a woman can accomplish this without any help. A lot of women are prone to such things as worry, depression….. Of course I’m sure they have their own personal reasons aside, but these are the two that stand out.

There’s just something about people who laugh at their own jokes 😄. And… people who don’t 🤔😄 eheheh

As you see yourself -you become. Many of the things I admired in others I began to see materializing, in myself -much later in life. Atleast that’s might take on it.

Afterthoughts: We all contribute. We either show people what to do -or want not to do.

Clark Gable had this way of making everything seem like no big deal. Even when the bad guys were after him he had this sorta magical, “we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it” mentality. If we ourselves can go from seeing things in life as these huge, inescapable tidal-waves to these magnificent waves which can deliver us safely, and quickly to shore 😉. Seriously, think about it -100 years ago no one dreamed of successfully climbing Everest, K2, or riding a 100 foot wave -RIGHT??? IF WE CAN CONQUER OUR ENVIRONMENT WITH THE RIGHT TECHNIQUE, PRACTICE, WILLINGNESS… WHY NOT OUR EMOTIONAL, OUR SPIRITUAL, OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL EVERESTS; OUR EMOTIONAL, OUR SPIRITUAL, OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL NAZARE’ WAVES*???

I remember always being nervous or afraid at get-togethers with peer at parties (this area tain’t that civilized)… Having had a few scrapes in the past with blokes in the local area myself. At one party (early 20’s), I managed to convince myself there was nothing to worry about -and by the end of the night I was in a brawl with another guy -and got hurt. I believe I was attempting to trust in God -and I think 🤔 my faith was forever more shaken from that night forward (I think it was the last thing satan wanted -besides me finding a woman who could love and support and understand me).

If you do something a little bit at a time consistently consistently-it will eventually get done. If you just think moment to moment to moment spent and those moments add up YouTube you can move a mountain. You can move the Earth a shovel at a time -if you’re consistent and are given sufficient time (Atlas).

In some cases our minds are a help in others a hinderance. One has to know when to switch over from the mind to the heart, from the heart to the spirit, from the spirit to the body, from the body to the mind….

I remember thinking to myself years ago 🤔, essentially the fact that two objects either in the same place at the same time, or heading there results in a collision (is this always the case on this plane?).

One final note: When I first got sober, not long after, years of pent up anger began to surface. Relationships -more than anything tend to bring out what’s inside of us. But I came to recognize “a pattern of overreacting” -which is almost always the residual effect(s) of some past… Anyways, I also noticed in many cases I was not merely dealing with anger -but with terror! Ever see someone react to a situation they’re terrified of? Like -throwing a dead snake into the tent of a man who was terrified of them? In closing, using the wave analogy -in many situations where you might see a 10′ wave, I was staring at a 100′ wave coming right out me! I live this way for a very long time with fear of intimacy, abandonment, betrayal, rejection, mistrust… It took alot of work which I personally, was only able to accomplish over a VERY, VERY LONG PERIOD OF TIME (DECADES). BUT NOW, ALOT OF THOSE 100’ers ARE 10’ers (or less). It’s like moving the earth -one shovel at a time. Besides, I didn’t have anything else “MORE IMPORTANT” to do -perhaps better (while young men my own age were out enjoying life -out was (not so) busy sorting throughmy sordid past 😒), but none more important** 🙆‍♂️
