🤔 Would you have acted any differently if you were raised with that way of thinking 🤔

How would you have acted living in Bethlehem during Jesus time -and your neighbor’s child claimed to be the messiah?

We know from repeated observations that human beings rarely act or hold the same attitude when on the other side of a situation. We know they rarely hold the same attitude or behavior observing as opposed to being in a particular situation.

Some people are right on the edge of taking a drink, and others are as far away from one as you can possibly get – How does one arruve at each place respectively?

Most of the time, when a person is raised right -they act right Most of the time, when a person is raised wrong -they struggle.

Fortunately -humans are highly adaptive. Unfortunately -humans are highly adaptive.

It seems to me that the supernatural his content to remain anonymous

If you want it now, -most of us have to pay interest together.

People pay thousands of dollars for ATV that months later is worth hundreds, WHY? To be the first on their block – I heard that the number one reason people buy is for social reasons -“Look at what I’ve got” Really??? So with this generation it’s all about what other people 🤔!!!!! Well, it does make corporate America richer if nothing else. Keeps the powers that be on top and in control -tethered with a line fashioned from materialism and superficiality.

Nothing worse than a man who no longer cares-society calm the power of the bee or fully aware of the potential for a man such as this period they have been working very hard to avoid people being brought to this state except in rare instances where it serves them, furthers their agenda. Some men think they’re invincible-they don’t know what the other man’s got, and still they act as if they got nothing to lose calm as if nothing matters ÷xcept their foolish pride – I guess some men figure that’s the only thing they got left.

Man, in most cases does things to get something in return;. to come out ahead in most cases! -Now just think about that for a moment 🤔 with regard to all of man’s endeavors and affairs. Even with His children in many cases… SOUNDS KINDA SCARY TO ME -CREEPY IN SOME INSTANCES

Something someone said in a meeting yesterday reminded me… I believe my spiritual 🙏 condition is the most powerful part in me! When I am around animals, their reaction to me when in proximity -tells me… do they run, do they stay, how far before they run, do some stay, do they respond to my attempts to interact…?

How do you/we know… (forgot rest?) (dream?) (still in the oven?)

How do you/we know what we’re looking at… 🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s two types of mistakes or errors we humans have the capacity to make:

1. Malicious

2. Non-malicious

Now then 🤔, I believe first of all:

1. If they are repeated respectively; God has enormous patience for the latter; and far less for the former.

2. I believe, that for a very, very long time in recovery I was guilty of the latter (borderline in some cases). At a certain stage in my recovery, immorality became a regular part of my life (after my father died -it lasted 4 years); In the next phase, lying and deceiving -another (it lasted 7 years). Somehow, I didn’t drink. Somehow, God’s Grace continued to keep me sober. During those early years… I suppose it’s OK to open-up about it -During those 4 years, following the death of my father; trips to whore-houses mostly, bars… then I would go to* my Sponsor and tell on my self. I only saw him get aggravated at me one time when, I suppose after another debacle, he said “Richard, you must really like pain” 😔. Well, I had been criticized, and humiliated most of my life -I suppose, given my failings to that point in recovery (I had for the first time in my life genuine hopes and dreams in recovery** -I could have been a contender) -I decided to act upon, or revert in a literal sense, to that which I had been told, had experienced “all” of my life (all is no exaggeration). Interestingly, the more I fell into this stupor, the further and further down the ladder of human indignity (I can’t think of a better word -sorry) I fell -people who in their own right were pathetic by any standard -wanted nothing to do with me 🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyways, I would go to my AA sponsor and tell on myself -then go to the Public health office for STD/HIV-tests (30 or more trips/tests in 4 years -nerve-wracking to say the least). On another occasion 🤔, my Sponsor quipped, “Richard, you lead a charmed life”. He, and I, couldn’t believe that test after test came back negative (Incidentally, when I first came into AA/NA, part of my welcoming into sobriety was a 2-3 months wait to get an HIV test followed by another couple of weeks for the results 🤷🏻‍♂️). A nurse at the Public Health Office once commented, “Most of the people who come in for an HIV-test don’t come back for the results -I went back 30+ times -4+ years of living hell! Well (hands on hip), needless to say, or I guess I should say… this phase eventually came to an end, sorta (one thing I learned -ALCOHOLICS CAN KILL THEMSELVES IN OTHER WAYS BESIDES ALCOHOL). Four years in the bars and whorehouses of a neighboring third-world country and By-God’s-Grace:

•I stayed sober

•I didn’t really contract any STD’s (INCREDIBLY)

Therefore, in both stints, the 4 and 7 years… I DO NOT BELIEVE MY INTENTIONS WERE MALICIOUS IN NATURE -HAD THEY BEEN… I DO NOT BELIEVE I WOULD HAVE FAIRED SO WELL -WOULD HAVE SURVIVED THEM NOR REMAINED SOBER! THANK YOU GOD FOR REMAINING PATIENT -FOR CONTINUING YOUR GRACE WHEN I REPEATEDLY TEMPTED FATE 🙏😪

*Where we have a tendency to run away, some people have a tendency to run towards… they run smack-dab into strife, challenge, pressure, discomfort, awkwardness -yes, some people are just that way 🤷🏻‍♂️

**At some point in my education I found myself unsure of the direction I wanted to follow career-wise. On one particular occasion, while visiting my aunt and uncle, I stated I wanted to travel, make good money -do something I really loved (architecture, translator for the U.N. we’re among those things I was considering). I told my aunt of these dreams and her response was “Don’t we all” want the perfect job/life). This happened right around the time my dad past away, or perhaps a year or two before. Anyways, I was reliant on others where perhaps I couldn’t or couldn’t have been and -i began to sense life, recovery was not all it was cracked up to be. I was looking for support, guidance, and didn’t feel I was getting it. My father, nor my grandmother had never been much help in this department (my father never seemed to interested in me as his son -let alone in assisting me in becoming a new and improved version of himself (to succeed where he had failed)). Grandma and Grandpa Hurd on the other hand, were all about higher-education (they just weren’t gonna do the work for me) ugh! They put themselves thru college during “The Great-Depression”. They weren’t interested in any sob-story. Well, I guess I just didn’t have the wear-with-all to succeed because after my dad past away, things went off-road for the next 20+ years or so 😏. I just want to say a special thank you Lord for standing by me 🙏.

So, if a man… can you see where man might have issues with an already perfect state (or simply a state which exceeds his own…)? No where to go but down!

It’s hard to imagine something more heinous, or so heinous as hate feeling good -but human-beings, in most cases (if you hit them just right) are capable of hate -of perhaps even liking it under the right conditions.

I’m not gonna lie and pretend there’s no prejudice instilled in me somewhere perhaps from my upbringing*. My upbringing. From the times, the culture I was raised in. But on the other ✋, be born in San Francisco in the 60’s -What city was more diverse than San Francisco at that time? Whatever our issues, it’s our responsibility to correct them or not. Jesus days, “It’s not a sin to be tempted -it’s a sin to give in to temptation”. I’ll simply close with a couple things;

•I have less of a problem with people of color than I do people of low moral character;

*For the most part, I don’t feel myself better than any other man (I’m only human -and most people who don’t feel some sense of superiority, and inferiority from time-to-time with respect to their fellow human-being -is probably lying, or in serious denial). Having said that, the fact that I’m single, and see a black man with a white woman tends to make me feel inferior to that man -which I don’t care much for. It’s like the reverse feeling of superiority if you catch my drift! I pledged from the start this site would be about honesty -and would address some very difficult subject-matter! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

No I have had some conversations with black women coblack women, I have seen TV shows is oz produced and directed by black men by black men, we’re black women talk about their dissatisfaction dissatisfaction with as they call it, their black man being stolen away by white women… I also understand that black men akhman dating black women, comma who get left for a white man also take it much more severely than being left for another black man…. Maybe it’s just in the jeans and has nothing to do with racism. I don’t know?

My father very rarely made comments about blacks and other minorities. No more perhaps than people of his own race. The parents of some of the neighborhood kids I grew up with were definitely racist. They made some comments in my presence that were foreign to me. A gentleman in the military tried to strike up a conversation with me about black’s comments common simulating that they were different from white such as him or myself? I didn’t have anything to say on the subject because I suppose I didn’t really feel that way. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you think God is jumping up-and-down for joy when someone is found guilty @ The Pearly Gates, in a court of law…

When profit is involved in sensitive civil issues… It tends to cloud the motivations of the people involved in them.

I started out a very very long time ago as a young person, the, wanting to understand understand what the essence of life coma of living is. What it entails. At 11 years older so, I remember asking an adult, “Is there a book on how to live?” They answered me “No, you just have to learn through experience.” Given my background, is it any wonder I was searching – But this was one of the very very rare times when I was forthright, and perhaps on the right path. Most times -thoughts on this high a level evaded me.

I’m not exactly sure how to say this… deep deep breath… So, 🤔 here’s another piece of the puzzle:

God gives us an array of potential of potential abilities and feelings. But you say God does not create nor condone sin nor evil. No it is true -but nor can He create robots either. If you only give us half-abilities; then free will is meaningless! I say he should take us all when we’re babies, when we’re only guilty of original sin.. That way we can all make it to Heaven! JUST A THOUGHT 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Anyways, back to the story… God gives us an array, an enormity of abilities and feelings… In the very beginning we still had these abilities and these feelings -But He created an environment where there was no need (or rather, no provocation with the exception of perhaps 🤔) for many of these -only the good ones. Now of course, we can no longer state with certainty that that is still the case… Moving along… In the beginning his guidance was very simplistic and forthright. In our current environment, mama his guidance and explanation of things has become slightly more complex. Instead of one commandment now there are 10 • 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️. In any case, He gave us numerous abilities and feelings; and at some point -He pointed out to us which were the good ones and which were the bad ones. He urged us along. He promised us He would never leave our side in times of need. But:

•He no longer communicates with us like He used to (how long would you attempt to have a rational conversation with an irrational person).*

•The constant issue God has had with us is that we don’t listen, and;

•We don’t use our brains like they were intended to be used.**

I THINK I MADE THE POINT! Oh, one last thing -He’s still around; hoping, waiting… But all the power in the universe (and God indeed has that) ultimately means little without our willingness to take part -to partake -to be a part of…

IN SUMMATION

Action!

“WE CANNOT EARN OUR WAY INTO HEAVEN -BUT WE CAN MOST CERTAINLY WORM OUR WAY OUT OF IT.”

Belief!

“Its better to believe in God and discover there isn’t one -than to disbelieve, and discover there is one.”

“For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who do not believe, no proof is possible.”

Faith!***

**There’s a time to use the brain, and there’s a time to use the heart, and there’s a time to use the soul. Knowing when to switch gears… 🤔

***Be grateful for the time you have been relegated to live in Faith; for once you have been given proof -Faith vanishes forever!

Why is it so hard for us to choose God’s way? I mean He hasn’t asked us to sacrifice our child in a very long time! He doesn’t ask us to murder people.. He doesn’t ask us to envy them. He doesn’t ask us to steal from them. He doesn’t ask us to sleep with their wives or husbands. He doesn’t ask us to murder people.. He doesn’t ask us to envy them. He doesn’t ask us to go around torturing people. He never asked us to do anything that makes us feel ashamed. He doesn’t ask us to go out and get drunk or get high and spend the rent money. SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?

I see a teenager falling from a 1000′ drop, laughing. At the bottom of that 1000′ drop awaits 90° curvature made of a soft yet firm surface, extremely frictionless. At the top it is sloped almost 90° with a very mild drop in angle, sloping to my left -it forms a perfect 1/4 circle from almost 90° to just past 0° at the bottom -IT’S A SLIDE WITH A “LOOP-THE-LOOP”.

Oh, I forgot -a suit. Some insilation… Probably a tiny lil’ chute to get us upright upon approach.

We’re all equal down here whether we agree or not.. Whether man treats one better than and 1 less than the other…. We’re all equal in the eyes of God-loud-and isn’t that really where 99.9999% of the weight is carried!

Now stores are tracking what we buy through these digital coupon – Stealing more and more data from us. By paying us for it and then gaining “another” edge after the data has been analyzed!

HOW MUCH

Doing the right thing rather than having it done to me and feeling good about it is something I have struggled with all of my life.*setting ego aside)

Dnce people have gotten certain needs met, other needs which are a little more difficult or require there ego deflation… many people attend to avoid or ignore. A woman for example will settle for or convince herself of a man she’s not necessarily crazy about rather than risk rejection go going for a man she is crazy about peryou’re bound. This is it is very common among women in this country.*

*A lot of women wait for the man to approach them approach them, and then decide whether they want to say yes or no. They think they are the ones making The Choice. But the fact of the matter is, they’re only making a choice from a pool that is choosing them first. And in most cases, there seems to be a certain characteristic among these types of men of men who show aggression or assertiveness when approaching women. And in a lot of these cases, a lot of women find themselves wanting later on down the road. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

Selfishness can be a very hard habit to break! And so can anger!

A man who is unfit, can I play a man who is fit on the basketball court, by sherwill alone if his will far surpasses that of the latters.

If we were more interested in this 🌎 in getting along with one another than in various other superficial endeavors.. The world might actually change for a change!

Mankind is never lacking in reasons common nor excuses, nor justifications for the things he does, for the changes he makes around him around him has opposed to win him!

With an ego that runs high in a nation such as ours com there can be little happiness for there is little gratitude for what we have found in the person we choose to live our lives with.

Balance is about a person knowing what their bodies doing in micro movements. Allow. A lack of balance is a failure to recognize what one’s body is doing in micro movement.

It’s not a matter of if certain men are planning big changes for this country, for this country calm but a matter of when. He thanked this beautiful country’s gonna continue looking like it looks a 100 years from now-with a bunch of crazy human beings running around!
