What happened to all the mainstream love songs we grew up within the seventies? It seems that that has gotten phased out hes doubt with regard to our youth. What are they listening to today? I go by the University, and I see the athletes practicing, please practicing, and they’re listening to.. I don’t even know what to call it! I would call a cool music. Trying to be cool. Go on YouTube and listen to some of the seventies love songs and read the reviews and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

If love is about giving. If Jesus was the main example, the only true example of love… And He gave and seldom asked… Usually for 2 reasons only:

• Do you have people in opportunity to be charitable;

• For the sake of the needs of those around Him.

Many people think love is having a need or a desire fulfilled by the other person – This runs contrary to Jesus’ example. This is a conditional love and therefore not love it all.

I remember my father taking a punch at me. I remember him calling me an asshole as well. I don’t think my father saw me as a father should, someone to be nurtured, someone to be cared for at all cost, When your own father tries to hurt you… Now I can see why it was so easy for him to play the role of take a rather than provider the then provider regard to our necessities.
