Do you think a lion prefers to be in a zoo getting 3²s A-day, free from the daily rigors of survival? It’s in his nature to be out there in the struggle, albeit free. I think the same holds true for us human beings. Once we become too domesticated… Removed from the struggles and challenges necessary for man’s physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual invigoration… And I’m not talking about struggles and challenges which serve our fellow man’s greed, and narrow visions – These only serve to put him in bondage; and bring him despair!
And adding to the above, we have become more and more separated from nature; and most of us are completely reliant on man -just like that lion in the zoo [who knows no freedom].
A person whose moral convictions are moved or changed by externals, doesn’t have much of a moral conviction at all in my opinion. When for example, we are in a position of power, a, a position of deciding Justice, and somebody rubs us the wrong way and we veer from our ideals of what is just, ous to, our moral convictions are not very strong.🤷🏾♂️🤷🏽♀️
