In a world where more and more people lie, at least in our country, don’t you think maybe we should reward people with the willingness to tell the truth in the face of punishment? I mean if you worked in an office where people lie all day long and somebody tells the truth, wouldn’t you want to commend them for it? Acknowledge them for?
Jesus lead not authority, or coercion, but through HIS infinite competence! This, in part, was the reason for such a mixed following, and mixed response! 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏻♀️ And that competence, insofar as what was presented to us, was not beyond some, not all, not beyond our own understanding and ability.
Focus on other people’s flaws and limitations is merely an excuse, a cop out! Trust me, I know! I’ve been on both sides of it -countless times! Seems almost inherent in us to focus on other people’s issues rather than our own! Rather than the ultimate prize, goal, objective!
In order for “it” to work, we have to set aside our selves essentially -atleast that seems, it feels, the case with/for me!
