People who are willing to pay for things the rest of us are not, or taking away our power which would effectively change things by our not paying. It’s like going on strike and having scabs go in and replace the workers -it defeats the whole purpose and takes away the power of the strikers.

If nobody’s willing to pay to read the news online, then these companies will be forced to put them on line the old fashioned way by simply getting money from the ads. Everyone will have free access to the news. And isn’t that great for all of us? If certain people would stop paying ridiculous prices for Super Bowl tickets, the prices would have to drop down and regular people could go back to them again. But certain people in this country don’t care about that.

Does anybody in this country with a significant amount of money, who can afford to throw money around, have any interest in fin fighting against the trends that are going on in corporate America and online America simply for the principle of the thing -to help their fellow human beings? And deflate the power trip corporate America is on right now? Over charging. Putting a price tag on more and more things where there once was not one.
