God doesn’t expect us to understand, he only expects us to try.

Change come slow to most folks -if that is true, the most of what we are is what we were formed early on; For better or for worse. I mean we see people living wonderful lives and we see people living horrible lives. Both seem slow to change. In fact, many people will argue that who we are we pretty much remain till the day we die. Of course that’s not the case in every case but there’s a legitimate argument that the majority of us in our core… Let it suffice to say that people who have wonderful lives are more or less gifted with an ability or core being, While the same can be said of people who live mediocre or mediocre or lives of [not-so-quiet] desperation, sadness, ineptness… That being said, how many of us really deserve much credit for our successes as well as our failures? Perhaps the one’s most deserving of any sort of credit are those who truly managed to turn things around.

Plenty of people start out with a bright future and end up throwing it all away. Plenty of people start out with a not so bright future and end up turning things around. In both cases it’s a vector. Force pointed in a certain direction. In the form of forces directed downward in the latter forces directed upward. To succeed all the persons has to do is try. To fail all a person has to do stop trying. To ascend take effort. To descend only requires a lack of effort. Just watch a bird.

Many people don’t respect unless they have a reason. There’s a certain kind of respect to people have for other human beings that comes with a reason. There’s a certain lack of respect that comes from not having a reason to respect. Some people respect you until you give them a reason not to. Some people don’t respect you until you give them a reason to. 🤷‍♂️
