If someone within the system was being treated better than you and you felt treated unfairly – But in reality you felt they were being treated fairly early but it was more that you weren’t. And you had 2 choices which would you choose:

• To accept things as they are;

• To have what they have been granted as fair be taken away and and reduced to what you yourself have been granted unfairly in your mind.

A lot of people out there are suffering in this country. In many instances it’s not until that suffering begins to bleed over into the establishment that the establishment itself gets involved.

When I was in the system for backchild support they lowered the hammer on me. I wasn’t working but going to school and they tried to force me to pay… even though I wasn’t earning… I started thinking about all the parents out there that for whatever reason we’re not working, and asking myself why the government wasn’t stepping in in those cases where the child’s needs were not being properly met? They were in essence trying to force me to go out and work to pay back the child support I owed. I’ve never heard of any parent being told, forced to have to go out and get a job because they have a child. I’ve never heard of any mother being forced to have to go out and get a job because they have a child. I’ve never heard of any parent working being told king Bing told you have to give X amount of money to support the needs of your. Nobody ever came to our house and told my father you need to stop spending your money on drugs and start spending it on proper nutrition and clothing for your son. And my father sure’s h*** wasn’t gonna spend 2 or $300 on my needs a month which is exactly what they were trying to get me to pay for my daughter.
